Celebrating 35 Years with Scott Stirton
This past Saturday, our team in attendance included our members of our Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Architecture teams from our Winnipeg office. Claudia Zhang and Yin Zheng took the lead on designing a custom centrepice for the A49 table. The captivating centrepiece embodied A49’s design philosophy. The stunning booklet design showcases photographs of our remarkable A49 interior design, landscape architecture, and architectural projects. What made this booklet truly special was its construction from a unique blend of epoxy resin and natural materials, seamlessly merging nature with the artificial. In a symbolic gesture, the team substituted artificial elements within the designs with delicate leaves and petals collected from the surrounding environment. These organic materials were meticulously preserved within the translucent resin, serving as a testament to our commitment to preserving the intrinsic beauty of nature.
A49, in partnership with True North Real Estate Development and PCL Construction, is thrilled to deliver the Portage Place Revitalization project, marking a monumental transformation of the original Portage Place shopping centre in downtown Winnipeg.
