The Architecture49 interior design group is able to create compelling environmental experiences. They possess the unique skillset required to develop a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs of the users. Each member of the interior design group has detailed knowledge of human dimensions (ergonomics, anthropometrics, accessibility and universal design) which are employed to create solutions which increase user satisfaction, performance and efficiency. As well, they have special knowledge of interior finishes and furnishings. This knowledge provides sound recommendations for the most appropriate product selection for the complex needs of a project, including: function, aesthetics, cost of ownership, life safety and sustainability.
The interior design group works closely with architectural team members to ensure that each project has the best possible outcomes. From schematic design, through construction documents into construction, the interior design group is involved with assessing potential issues and providing input for solutions.
