The Township of West Lincoln in Ontario is a rapidly growing community and home to the West Lincoln Community Centre, located in Smithville. The centre replaced aging recreation infrastructure and provides the township with a sense of civic pride. This multi-use recreation centre will serve the township for decades to come with recreational play, leisure activities and organized sports.
The facility is designed for year-round, multi-generational uses. Outdoors, residents benefit from play and activity on the skate park, playground, splash pad and forested walking trail. Inside, three multi-purpose community rooms can host community events such as receptions, parties, fundraisers and recreational programming. The single pad arena has spectator seating for 450 patrons, a walking track and six dressing rooms. A gymnasium and library are the final major components of this community centre that give it a well-rounded program to suit a variety of uses for young and old alike.
