The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is one of Canada’s leading providers of applied research, development and demonstration and technology commercialization. Their Environmental Analytical Laboratory at the Innovation Place technology park, adjacent to the University of Saskatchewan campus, is a complete analytical chemistry laboratory providing environmental test services and expertise in organics, inorganics and radiochemistry.
The renovation of three floors (3 365 m²) of the existing building was intended to consolidate operations from multiple locations. The project included demolition, decommissioning and renovation of existing spaces for new laboratories and offices; construction of a new entrance; and a new three-storey elevator.
