Procedure Room Fit-ups, Diagnostic Centre of Excellence

Located on the Health Sciences Centre campus between the Ann Thomas Critical Services, Children’s Hospital, and the HSC Winnipeg Women's Hospital, the Diagnostic Centre of Excellence is a 7-storey infill building that supports and enhances the hospital’s diagnostic testing capabilities and improves access to new developments in pediatric and adult patient care. The facility houses the Health Sciences Centre’s permanent helicopter ambulance landing pad, enabling HSC to better fulfill its mandate as the trauma centre for Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Nunavut. The fit-up was a continuation of services provided by Architecture49 for the base building. The procedure rooms house an MRI, CT Scanner, Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Cath Lab and Angio suites for interventional procedures.
