The Government of Canada has announced the construction of a modern federal justice complex in Old Montréal, set to house four federal courts and the Courts Administration Service. The new building will feature sustainable design, accessibility, and state-of-the-art facilities to improve access to justice. The complex will adhere to LEED Gold and WELL Silver standards, ensuring energy efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The architecture will blend with the historic surroundings, promoting transparency and accessibility.
