The Meridian Centre is grounded in St. Catherines’ rich downtown history and is a major catalyst in the city’s downtown revitalization strategies and aspirations. The 5,036 seat spectator facility is home to the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs and plays host to a variety of sport and entertainment events. The building is comfortably situated within the downtown cityscape acting as a welcoming beacon with transparent public entry towers, lobbies and lounges to welcome the public.

Amenities include dressing room facilities for home and visitor teams, concessions, retail space, a hall of fame and administrative space.

The design also features two significant entry points via pedestrian bridges that connect the building to St. Paul Street, acting as both symbolic and physical links to the downtown area. Overall, Meridian Centre is a project of civic pride and a landmark in the city, acting as a gateway that strengthens their vision for a new cultural and entertainment precinct.
