A49 in Joint Venture with WSP and HOK are modernizing laboratory facilities in Ontario as part of a program of work related to Laboratories Canada (LC) known as the Laboratories Canada Ontario Regional Projects. The foci of this mandate was to develop consolidated Science Laboratory Facilities in Mississauga, Sudbury, Guelph and Ottawa.
The base project is the laboratory expansion and fit-up of a joint National Research Council Canada (NRC) and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) facility in Mississauga, Ontario. Specifically, this project involves the vertical expansion and interior fitout of the Canadian Centre for Advanced Material Manufacturing (CCAMM). The CCAMM is a catalyst to accelerate the development of advanced materials technologies and their commercialization in disruptive new products. The facility aims to support materials development and commercialization in numerous industrial sectors by establishing a technology platform and enabling infrastructure relevant to a broad range of materials and partners.
