Honey & Barry Memorial Arena

Vaughan, Ontario

The Honey & Barry Memorial Arena is a 102,000-square-foot addition to the Vaughan Jewish Community Campus, connected to the existing Community Services Building. The facility features two NHL-sized ice surfaces with seating for 400 and 150 spectators, along with modern safety systems. Amenities include six change rooms per rink, a gender-neutral accessible change room, a second-floor lounge overlooking both rinks, a puck-shooting room, and retail and concession spaces.

The arena also offers 12,500 square feet of fitness and training space across two floors, including two gymnasiums with advanced equipment, professional player facilities, treatment rooms, saunas, and meeting spaces. Offices and storage areas support community and user groups.

As part of the project, Wood Valley Park was redesigned to complement the new addition. The park now includes parking for 264 vehicles, a natural turf senior soccer field, a junior baseball diamond, and a multi-use play space integrated with the existing playground.
