École François-Buote is a Canadian francophone school in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island for students in the central part of Queens County including the City of Charlottetown. The school required additional space to accommodate changes in the school’s curriculum and increased enrollment. The addition involved two industrial arts shops, two classrooms, washrooms, and a daycare facility. The renovation work throughout the existing building included expanding the kitchen, community lounge, and providing community offices. The design features state-of-the-art daycare facilities and new educational spaces that creatively responded to the program with efficiency and functionality. Care was taken to ensure flexibility, and plan for the possibility of future growth.
