Located in the Sports Hospitality and Entertainment District in the heart of Downtown Winnipeg, True North Square is a highly diverse, mixed-use development project contributing to the rejuvenation and improvement of downtown Winnipeg. Certified LEED Gold, LEED Canada for Core and Shell Development 2009 the building incorporates numerous strategies to achieve a high-performance energy efficient building that significantly reduces building energy use. The complex features a large outdoor civic plaza surrounded by three high-rise towers accommodating mixed-use spaces including Class ‘A’ office space, residential units, hotel accommodations, retail space and an elevated skywalk system. In addition, a two-storey parkade constructed below the outdoor plaza will add a significant amount of parking to the downtown area.
