A49 in Ontario remains the organization’s largest region with over 140 staff members across six offices. The Ontario team excels at delivering a range of projects from the complex Centre Block Rehabilitation Project and high-security defence projects to municipal buildings, schools, and recreation centres that enrich residents' lives throughout Ontario's cities and towns. To further support the growth strategies throughout Ontario, A49 is pleased to promote Jie Chen to Managing Principal, Ontario Seaway Corridor Region. In 2019, we welcomed Jie Chen as Cornwall office leader. During her time with us, Jie has successfully increased the practice's scale, reach, and influence. Over the past year, our leadership team has worked with Jie to support the development of her vision and strategy to broaden the practice and access new regional clients and markets.

In Cornwall, our office has been integral to our practice since the inception of A49. With a legacy spanning over 50 years, the practice has grown steadily to expand service offerings to municipalities and communities throughout the region. The team applies a client-centric and community-minded approach to serve a highly diverse portfolio of rural and non-urban markets. A49 welcomes Jie to the national leadership team and we look forward to everything the Ontario Seaway Corridor region will achieve under her guidance.
